One calm creative path

Say it. Shape it. Ship it.

No prompt maze and no pile of disconnected tools. The Scribe keeps your recording, transcript, manuscript, cover, and publishing files together.

01 · CAPTURE

Start with real material.

Record live or import one audio or video file at a time. Local transcription keeps the workflow focused and protects your original.

02 · CREATE

Find the book inside it.

The editor studies the source, finds its natural arc, proposes chapters, and develops readable prose at the distance you choose.

03 · PUBLISH

Finish with confidence.

Read, revise, add front matter, choose a cover, and prepare EPUB, PDF, Word, and a guided KDP package.

You set the editorial distance

How far should the editor go?

Choose the level that fits the material. Your central idea, meaningful stories, facts, and recognizable voice remain the anchor.

1

Keep it close

Corrects grammar, punctuation, repetition, and transcription errors. The ideas, order, length, and voice stay close to the source.

2

Add a little

Improves flow and transitions, clarifies under-explained thoughts, and gives the prose a clean modern rhythm without changing the point.

3

Build it out

Develops the strongest ideas with useful context, frameworks, examples, reflection, and practical application—all anchored to your source.

4

Make it big

Creates the most ambitious source-led manuscript: a broader arc, richer chapters, stronger openings, and deeper reader value, with guardrails against invented claims.

A serious creative workspace

Everything the book needs. Nothing that gets in the way.

The premium experience is not more buttons. It is knowing what happens next, recovering safely, and staying in control.

Private local transcription

Your audio is transcribed on your computer. Keep the source close, review the transcript, and decide what becomes part of the book.

Work that recovers

Long recordings and book jobs save progress so an interruption does not force you to begin from zero.

Manuscript Studio

Edit every chapter, add material, build front matter, compare titles, and return to completed books later.

Publishing files, not just prose

Move from approved manuscript to cover, metadata, EPUB, print PDF, Word, and a guided Amazon KDP checklist.

Plain answers

Before you begin.

Know what is free, what is paid, and what remains yours.

What does Free include?

Free includes one verified file or live recording, about 20 minutes of on-device transcription, and reading the transcript inside The Scribe. It does not include transcript export or book creation.

Who is The Scribe for?

Anyone whose spoken or existing material deserves a longer life: authors, podcasters, educators, coaches, consultants, founders, researchers, speakers, ministry leaders, memoirists, and storytellers.

Which plan is the best value?

Publisher is $29 per month for one book. Publisher Series is $49 per month for three books—about $16 each—and becomes the better value as soon as you need a second book.

Can I add a book without changing plans?

Yes. An Extra book is $29 and stays on your account until you use it. Publisher plus one Extra book is $58; if you need a second book this month, Publisher Series is $49 for three.

Can I choose the number of pages?

You can request a planning target from 15 to 200 pages. The estimate uses about 240 words per page; the authoritative print count is measured from the final PDF and varies with trim size, typography, spacing, headings, images, and front matter. The editor will not invent filler merely to hit a number.

Does transcription leave my computer?

Core audio transcription—including Add by Voice inside the editor—runs locally. Paid book and cover features may securely send the material needed for that requested job to the configured generation service. Audio is not uploaded for book writing, and you review the result before publishing.

How is the premium cover created?

One included premium image request creates the front-cover artwork and integrates the title, subtitle, and author name. A different generated direction is $9 and is bound to that saved book; uploading your own finished cover remains free. You must proof every word before approval. The Scribe then assembles the back, barcode area, and page-count-aware spine deterministically for the KDP print wrap.

Where are my finished books?

Press My Books in the app toolbar. The library uses each generated cover when it is available and keeps every saved title conspicuous so you can reopen, edit, export, or prepare a new edition later.

Who owns the finished manuscript?

You retain ownership of the material you provide and the output available to you under the Terms. You are responsible for having the rights to every recording, document, image, quotation, and source you use.

Does it publish to Amazon automatically?

The Scribe prepares files, metadata, checks, and a guided KDP package. You sign in to your own Amazon KDP account, review rights, territories, price, and preview, then make the final publishing decision.
